An effective DDOS protection consists of several layers.
Our solution consists of on-site appliances that can automatically filter out bad traffic towards the backend servers, it can do this for all traffic up to the capacity of the link speed. This also means that latency will not be affected.
When a volumetric attack happens that are bigger than uplink capacity, we automatically redirect your traffic through a cloud scrubbing center, which then sends the good traffic back to the datacenter. We can provide several scrubbing centers around the world.
We only redirect incoming traffic, thus providing native latency for outgoing traffic.
Permanent redirects is not recommended for gaming, because it continuously add latency to the end users, since traffic always have to pass through the scrubbing center before it hits the datacenter.
Our defense capability is 1 Terabit per second capacity.
Volumetric attacks that exceed 1 Terabit will be handled in cooperation with the Internet providers through ACL filtering.
